Selection Process:

  • A total of 64 teams will take part in this tournament, all slots will be open for registration. It will be based on a first come first serve basis
  • All Players must be living in the MENA region only and must be registered on the PLG website.
  • You must have an active Rocket league account.
  • Team captains are required to update the admin beforehand and provide full details on players and Stand-ins. This includes full name, in game nickname, and PSN account.
  • Each team consists of 3 players and 1 stand-in player but cannot be an existing player in the tournament. (even if that player was eliminated in an earlier stage)

Bracket rules:

  • The tournament will host X teams to play on an X format.
  • In a best of one situation, both teams should agree on the host and the server
  • In a best of three or best of five, both teams should agree on the host.
  • The basic hosting system for BO3/BO5 is Team 1 to host the first game, Team 2 the second game and Team 1 again to host the third game(if applicable) and so on for BO5.

Starting match:

  • All teams are expected to be there and confirm their attendance 30 minutes before the start of the match.
  • Game dates are subject to change if the situation and time table allows it
  • Any team with a problem regarding the date change will need to provide a valid and reasonable excuse to demand a date change.
  • Schedule is subject to change in the following circumstances:
    • If the team appeals for date change 48 hours before their original match date.
    • Both teams need to be on a mutual agreement for the date change.
    • The new date cannot be more than 24 hours away from the original date.
    • Foul language, offensive and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated from any player and will result in the following:
      • First Warning that the team captain has to acknowledge
      • Second Warning will lead to default loss for one game
      • Third Warning will lead to disqualification from the tournament

Schedule Change:

  • Game dates are subject to change if the situation and time table allows it

Breach of Rules:

Foul language, offensive and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated from any player and will result in the following:

  • First Warning that the team captain has to acknowledge
  • Second Warning will lead to default loss for one game
  • Third Warning will lead to disqualification from the tournament

Disconnect/connection issues:

  • If a player disconnects, it’s up to his team if they want to continue the match or not. If a player disconnects, the rematch can happen only if both teams agrees.
  • If any serious bugs occur, the game has to be quit immediately and the match has to be re-played. If a team doesn’t agree on the rematch, a video recording of the bug is strongly recommended. The admin will decide then the outcome. Abusing a bug is forbidden.

Game Admin:

  • In case of any dispute regarding any issue, the final decision will be made by the admin.
  • Game Admin has the power to refute any rule depending on the situation at hand.
  • These Rules may be amended, modified or supplemented by PLG, from time to time, in order to ensure fair play and the integrity of PLG.
