Introducing the MKX Cup Middle East Champion

After a long day in the Mortal Kombat X Battle Arena, presented by PLG, and a series of numerous battles, we are proud to introduce you the MKX Cup Middle East Champion: Sayed Hashem. A Bahraini local citizen, Hashem conquered a series of serious fights, managing to even get rid of his three other compatriot.

Tournament-Brackets

The UAE qualifier saw two emerging players reaching to the final 8 – Michael Gilmour and Gerard Boyadjian (The previous Mortal Kombat 9 PLG Grand Champion) – as well as the entirety of the Bahraini qualifiers – Mahmoud Jaffar, Sayed Hashem, Mohammed Saeed and Hassan Ali Ahmad – and two of our Jordan Games Week qualifiers – Faisal Khoury and Wajdy Farhan (with Ahmad Abou Nemri and Fareed Alnamrouti sadly losing in the Final 16). The battles were gruesome, and our four Bahraini qualifiers reached the semi-finals, where Sayed and Mahmoud reached the grand finals.

After winning a flawless 4 match in a B07 series, Sayed walked out of the Mortal Kombat Cup Middle East Finals with the championship belt, a brand new collector edition of Mortal Kombat X and a trip to France for the European Finals of the Mortal Kombat Cup to compete against other champions from around the world for a prize pool of AED 84’000.
