2016 Fanta Masters Championship Finals and Ultimate Team Qualifier

“The Road to London – FIFA Interactive World Cup Grand Final”, kicks off one of its critical regional qualifiers from the 8th to 10th December, at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi. Power League Gaming (PLG), will host this prestigious FIFA 17 Ultimate Championship Series live event as one of several prestigious tournament qualifiers taking place globally. This will be an official “Ultimate Team Championship Regional Qualifier” event with several prestigious accolades that can now be revealed in full.


Firstly, it signifies an even deeper partnership with the leading eSports competition in the Middle East, Fanta Gaming Masters. The Fanta Masters 2016 Championship Final will reach its climax this weekend after a whole year of tournaments across the region for millions of gamers. Hosting for the third year, 32 of the best gamers from across the region, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates the Levant, Jordan, Egypt and more combining expats residents and nationals in a multicultural eSports tournament. Broadcast live from the Power League Gaming (PLG) Studio at Yas Marina Circuit, the Fanta Masters Championship Finals will be livestreamed on multiple channels for fans to enjoy including Fanta Masters official YouTube channel. The two-day eSports tournament, comes with 25,000 USD in prize money at stake, for this qualifier alone.

The Road to London - FIFA Interactive World Cup

The event will be the only Rest of World (Asia/ Middle East/Australia/Africa) “Wildcard” given to any player in the FUT Championship Series, as these Fanta Masters head out from this Regional Qualifier to the “Ultimate Team Championship Regional Final” in Sydney in February 2017 to compete for another 50,000 USD Prize Pool for Season 1. Winners then would go on to the Ultimate Team Championship Final held globally, then the FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC) Grand Final in London in 2017 to compete for USD 300,000 prize pool and a trip for the winner and their guest to FIFA’s annual football award ceremony.
